The Shipping Agency GARCOR Shipping Services starts it’s history in 2009, after a twenty years experience period in the shipping industry of its founder Igor Garlaschi.
The assistance to dry cargo, passenger, tanker and LPG ships is well managed thanks to the long experience and know-how built with large shipowner and charterer companies.
We operate in south Sardinia, in the ports of Cagliari, Assemini and Sarroch, giving maximum assistance and professionalism for any kind of import/export or port related service.
Situated in the southern area of Sardinia, it's divided in two distinct areas:
- The historical port, which has passenger, liner, Ro-Ro, pleasure, fishing traffic;
- "Porto Canale" (Channel port), with the bulk terminal for dry cargoes and the container terminal which is the biggest container port of Sardinia, and has prevalently transhipment and Ro-Ro traffic. About 1.100.000 TEUS are moved every year.
At about 25 km south-west from Cagliari, Porto Foxi is one of the most important tanker ports in the Mediterranean. The marine terminals of Saras and Polimeri Europa can accommodate up to 13 vessels alongside.
It is the industrial port for different local intrepreneurial activities, during the last period it is also becoming of interest for cruise liners.
